In order to register and become a member of the Super City, you will have to take out a subscription with us. You can choose one of three options:
- an advance Annual or Annual Plus Subscription
- an advance Monthly Subscription.
- Basic Membership - Free, with no monthly or annual charges - Limited Content
You can find quite a bit of information about the kinds of subscriptions you can take out in our Frequently Asked Questions but the basics are below.
Subscriptions
McFly Super City has a recurring payment subscription service for Monthly memberships whereas Annual memberships are one off payments made at time of purchase. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are authorizing Super City to charge your authorized PayPal account or Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Maestro, Solo Card for the specified amount of either £40/$65 per Annum OR £6/$9 for monthly payments OR £69 for an Annual Plus (UK ONLY), dependent on what package you select on the following pages.
The Merchant Company (Sandbag Ltd) will advise you of the amount to be paid and the dates on which payment is due and the Merchant & Co. Ltd may only change these amounts by giving you prior notice.
Should you wish to cancel your subscription, please visit the Manage My account Area within your profile on Super City and select Cancel My Subscription. You will receive an email notification of this and if your subscription is monthly the recurring payments will cease.
Annual Subscription
If you are resident in the UK and Europe this will cost you £45 per annum or, if you are anywhere else where we allow you to register with the Super City (see the list of countries here [insert link]), this will cost you USD$69 per annum.
Annual Plus Subscription
If you are resident in the UK and Europe this will cost you £69 per annum. If you have an Annual Membership already you can upgrade to this membership for £29.00. Please note this is UK ONLY as meet and greets will only happen in the UK.
Monthly Subscription
If you are resident in the UK and Europe this will cost you £6 per month or, if you are anywhere else where we allow you to register with the Super City, this will cost you USD$9 per month. This is a recurring payment subscription and this means that monies will be deducted from your account every month. If for whatever reason payment is declined or unsuccessful, you have one week's grace period to make successful payment, else your account will automatically be made a basic account with basic access until you make a successful payment once again.
Renewing and Cancelling Your Subscription
Annual/ Annual Plus Subscription and Monthly Subscriptions must be paid by you in advance. You can cancel your Annual/Annual Plus Subscription or Monthly at any time by going into "Manage My Account" and clicking "Cancel My Subscription", but you will not be refunded any money for the remaining period you have not used.
Please note that your Monthly Subscription is subject to automatic renewal on expiry of the current term of your subscription. This means that funds will be debited from your chosen account automatically per month. Annual Subscriptions will expire exactly 12 months from the date you start the annual subscription. Our merchant company (Sandbag Limited) will advise you via an electronic renewal notification prior to the expiry of your current subscription the amount to next be debited from your chosen account and on which date payment will be taken. Such amounts will only be charged to you by Sandbag Limited if you have been provided with this renewal notification. You can cancel your upcoming Annual/Annual Plus Subscription or Monthly Subscription at any time prior to expiry of your current subscription at any time by going into "Manage My Account" and clicking "Cancel My Subscription", but you will not be refunded any money for the remaining period you have not used.
Expiry of Your Subscription
Please remember that if you do register with the Super City, and then the card details you provided are declined, Super City will offer a grace period of 7 days from when your registration expired to make payment. If payment is not successfully taken you will lose all that you have created or benefitted from as a registered user. PURCHASING FROM THE SUPER CITY SUPER STORE

- to the extent that the Product is a Downloadable Product, your sole remedy will be a refund of the price you have paid for the particular Downloadable Product that is no longer available.
- In both cases, if you confirm that you do wish to proceed, please remember that we will still not be under an obligation to supply the Products until we have confirmed that we have accepted your order.
If you have any problems placing your order, want to change your order (but be quick because as mentioned above we might not be able to rectify mistakes if we have sent you an order confirmation), or cancel your order, please contact our Customer Service Team by email at mcfly@sandbag.uk.com or phone on 01189569183. Downloading Super Store Content
If the Product you are purchasing is identified on the Super City Super Store as downloadable (a "Downloadable Product"), you can download it by clicking on the link that will be displayed on the [order confirmation and via the Citizen Locker Area on the Store ]. Please note that purchasing a Downloadable Product via Super City will require a computer with an appropriate playback programme installed, internet access, certain software and this may involve obtaining upgrades from time to time. We strongly recommend that you make use of a high speed internet connection or, if using a mobile phone or network, the 3G service.
You should also be aware that Downloadable Products may be subject to data charges that are imposed by your internet or mobile phone provider, for which you will be responsible.
Once downloaded to your computer, you may then only transfer the Downloadable Product to portable devices (like your iPod or MP3 player) or burn to a CD or DVD (or similar) for your own personal non-commercial use. You are permitted one re-delivery (so two downloads in total) of each Downloadable Product previously downloaded by you. To initiate a re-delivery you should either click on the original link where you downloaded the Downloadable Product or contact our customer services department and a new link will be sent to you.
Downloadable Products are provided to you pursuant to a licence only in accordance with the "Proprietary Rights" section above.
Downloading via CITIZEN LOCKER
For downloadable products that are made available via Super City, you will be able to get all of this content via the Citizen Locker. This will display any content you have redeemed via Super City, including wallpapers.
For downloads, go to Citizen Locker and this will show you any available content. Same download rules apply as with any downloadable content.

The prices on the Super Store do not include all taxes, including VAT, which you may have to pay in respect of the Products. If you are based outside of the United Kingdom, you will also be responsible for any other applicable taxes or import duties that are levied once the Products reach you.
We do our best to ensure the security of your details when you order from us and the Super City uses a Thawte Security Certificate, which means that we are who we say we are. Please take a look at our Privacy Policy to see how we use and protect your personal information.

We will not dispatch the Products until we receive payment in full.
Your card statement will show the transaction is taken either from SAFEPAYZONE or SANDBAG LTD

Returns
Right to Cancel Non-Downloadable Products
With the exception of Downloadable Products, tickets, video, audio, software, personalised or perishable Products or other Products that we have specified as non-returnable, if you are a consumer (i.e. you are not purchasing either wholly or in part for your business or you are not a business) you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the Contract and receive a refund (including any delivery charges you have paid) from us. This is subject to you taking care of the Products while they have been in your possession and returning them to us in the same condition as you received them.
To do this, you must tell us in writing that you wish to cancel within seven working days, starting on the day after the Products are delivered to you. If you choose to cancel then you must return the Products to us at your cost and risk and we advise you to ensure the Products are adequately insured during the return journey. You must ensure that you take reasonable care of the Products.
If you have not returned the Products within 14 days of cancellation or when requested by us to do so, whichever occurs first, we can collect the Products from you at your cost.
Details of your right to cancel will also be provided [in the delivery note that will accompany the Products].

- you not providing us with correct information;
- your mailbox or systems being full or otherwise unable to receive any content or the Product (to the extent the Product is a Downloadable Product); and/or
- you not complying with any of our instructions that accompany the Product.

HOW TO USE OUR INTERACTIVE SERVICES:
The Super City is intended to be a fully interactive experience and there a number of things you will come across and use while you explore the Super City. You can get a lot of information on the various Interactive Services we offer in our Frequently Asked Questions, but we also mention some of the basics below.
Fan Table
You have to be registered and logged-in to use and access the Fan Table. The Fan Table is where you can get noticed by the band, by uploading a picture you have taken or a sketch you have drawn. The best pieces will feature publicly on the Fan Table, and will be picked out either by the band, or the Super City HQ to feature on the fan table. You can ONLY get on the fan table by one of the band or Super City HQ deciding that you have uploaded something particularly exciting Since you are uploading material, it is crucial that you use the Fan Table in accordance with these Terms of Use, especially around the rights that you have to upload the materials to the Fan Table and the Content Standards (above). Also make sure you use the Fan Table in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Super City Safe Surfing Guide.
Web-Chat
You have to be registered and logged-in to access the Web-Chat. As you will know, the Web-Chat will allow you to interact with the band and ask them questions and they can hopefully give you an answer! You can interact with the band by using the chat function to the right of the video feed.
Again, take particular notice of the Content Standards when using the Web-Chat - we will not put your question to the band if we think it breaches any of the Content Standards. We'll also be arranging special one-off individual chats as prizes for gaining points in the Super City community. Keep in mind that you will only be able to chat to us if you're a subscribed citizen.
Band Rooms
Each member of the band has their own room that you can visit if you are registered and logged-in with the Super City. In the band rooms you can play games, draw pictures and generally explore each band member's room where you will see what they like and dislike. You will also find exclusive galleries, videos and audio players that will contain the personal content of each band member. Much of the stuff you will find in band rooms will not be anywhere else so make sure you treat it with care and in accordance with these Terms of Use.
Super Community
The Super Community is where you can create and edit your profile and even create your own Avatar! In the Super Community you can include some information about yourself, upload content and message other registered users of the Super City, but make sure you do this in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Super City Safe Surfing Guide. You can even see who is online right now by ticking the 'online now' button.
DIGITAL CONTENT CANCELLATION RIGHTS:
BEING A PIONEER
If you are a Pioneer and you fail to renew your registration with the Super City, you will lose certain creations or benefits you had as a registered user if you don't renew within 7 days of your registration expiring. However, one of the many great things with being a Pioneer is that we are able to reinstate you as a Pioneer in the event that you renew your registration, no matter when you do this.
POINTS AND REWARDS:
General
Although we no longer run the points system on Super City, you are still able to redeem the points you have earned against certain prizes. To make use of the points and rewards system you have to be a current registered user of the Super City with either an Annual Subscription or a Monthly Subscription.
Once you have earned your points, you can then redeem them for certain benefits from the Super City. As well as needing a certain number of points to get a certain reward, some rewards are only available to certain categories of registered user (like a Gold Citizen for example). To see what rewards your points can get you, have a look at our Redemption Table.
Depending on the type of reward, it may be available to you immediately (like things you download) or otherwise the Super City will automatically send us a message and we will get in touch with you to sort out your reward. Please note that all rewards are subject in full to these Terms of Use, in particular the terms around Purchasing from the Super City and the additional legal terms directly below.
Legal Information
As well as everything elsewhere in these Terms of Use, there are a few additional legal points that apply to the Points and Rewards system on the Super City. We set these out below.
- We reserve the right to (a) alter the Rewards; (b) alter how points may be earned and on what activities points are earned; (c) alter the number of points per activity; and/or (d) alter the number of points needed for any particular prize.
- You can only use the Points and Rewards system if you are a consumer, so not if you are acting as, or on behalf of, a business entity or for any other commercial purpose.
- We reserve the right to award bonus points to certain users of the Super City and on certain things from time to time (so we might increase the number of points for participating in a Web-Chat for example).
- Points will usually be added to your account [instantly on/within 2 hours of] award, unless something outside of our control means we can't do this. You will not be able to redeem your points until they have been added to your account.
- To redeem your points, you will need to be logged-in and then go to the Prize Area. Each reward has its own points value, which we give it in our sole discretion.
- Rewards may change from time to time, may only be available for limited periods and are always subject to availability.
- Some rewards may only be available to you if you are 18 or over (for example, if McFly are offering concert tickets as an award and you have to be 18 or over to enter the concert) and other conditions may apply to awards from time to time. We will of course let you know if you have to be 18 or over to redeem points for a certain reward or if special conditions apply to the reward.
- Only points can be exchanged for rewards - you are not able to use cash in full or part payment via the Super City.
- Points and rewards have no cash redemption value and cannot be exchanged, sold or transferred and must never be resold. If you do resell rewards, this is a serious breach of these Terms of Use.
If you have any questions on points, rewards or how to redeem your points, you should look at our Frequently Asked Questions [insert link] or contact us on mcfly@sandbag.uk.com or call +44(0) 1189 950 5812
